because i only own a dry one and was wondering if this would be effecting my measuraments?

Answers:
there is a difference, but it is very slight... only when baking and even then only in large batches does it really make a difference

it shouldn't affect your baking. a cup is a cup, liquid or dry.

happy cooking!

It shouldn't effect anything, the only differences are that liquid ones are made to handle much higher heat, and have spouts to make pouring easier.

There is a differences between a liquid measuring cup and a dry measuring cup. I suggest you go buy a glass liquid measuring one because you may be using one that needs hot liquid.

Yes, surprisingly, there IS a difference, although slight. You should always measure WET or LIQUID ingredients in a glass measuring cup (Pyrex), and DRY ingredients in those little take apart measuring cups. If you only have the little measuring cups, use a little bit less (just a little), and it may be worth it to you if you cook a lot, to invest in a Pyrex measuring cup. Get a 2 cup one at least. Better yet, get a 2 cup and a 1 cup. Good luck!

There is a difference, buy a liquid measuring cup to see. Pour one cup of milk into the dry cup and pour that over into the liquid measure and it will be off. Not much, but it is off.
