Can't find this recipe??!?
Anyone know this recipe? You take a flour tortilla and spread a cream cheese mixture w/chopped green onions in it onto the tortilla.. you roll it up and then cut it into bite sizes so they're like little pinwheels? You can dip them in salsa.. like a little appetizer...they're so good..but can't find the recipe anywhere...
Answers:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup pitted green olives, chopped
1 (2.25 ounce) can black olives, chopped
6 green onions, chopped
8 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1/2 cup salsa
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, green olives, black olives and green onions.
Spread cream cheese mixture in a thin layer onto each tortilla. Roll up tortillas. Chill about 1 hour, or until the filling is firm.
Slice chilled rollups into 1 inch pieces. Serve with salsa for dipping.
You seem to know the basic recipe fairly well, I think you should give it shot yourself and see how it goes. If you are making them for a party or something, try to make them in advance, maybe add a few different ingredients as well. Maybe try a guacamole dip and maybe some kind of meat like ham or bacon? Improvise :D
CREAM CHEESE TORTILLAS
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 sm. can chopped ripe olives
1 sm. can chopped green chilies
2 green onions, chopped
10-12 flour tortillas
Picante sauce
Soften cream cheese. Combine all ingredients except tortillas and refrigerate. After several hours, spread cheese mixture on a tortilla and roll up, then cut into 1 inch pieces. Serve with picante sauce.
To mix it up a little I also add sliced ham.
