How long do frozen bananas last?!

Question:

How long do frozen bananas last?

I was thinking of making banana bread, because I have 6-8 old bananas. Then I read some Yahoo answers that suggested freezing the nanas, then you can use them when you're ready. I didn't really want to make banana bread, I just didn't want to waste the bananas. But how long do they last frozen? So if I wrap them in plastic wrap after I peel them, should I also put the wrapped ones in a ziploc baggie? Thanks~

Answers:
I make banana bread on a regular basis and I prefer to peel the bananas, slice them, and freeze them in a plastic container. They can be kept about a month or two in the freezer.
