MOM'S SPAGHETTI SALAD

2 pounds spaghetti
Red Wine Vinegar
McCormick's Salad Supreme spice
Italian salad dressing
Optional - diced cukes, diced Polish sausage.

Cook spaghetti noodles until slightly undercooked. Cool a bit. Add approximately 1/3 cup red wine vinegar and about 1/2 cup Italian dressing.
Season with Salad Supreme spice to taste (about 2 tablespoons). Mix often (liquids will settle).

Salad is best if you can let set covered in the refrigerator for a day or so.

Add extras IE: cukes, tomatoes, diced sausage, etc. before serving.

SPAGHETTI SALAD

1 lb. thin spaghetti
1 lg. green pepper, diced
2 lg. tomatoes, diced
1 onion, diced
1 can black pitted olives, sliced
1 (18 oz.) bottle Viva Italian dressing
1 jar McCormick salad supreme seasoning (do not substitute this seasoning)

Cook spaghetti; drain well and rinse with cold water. Mix spaghetti and vegetables. Add olives and salad dressing.

COLD SPAGHETTI SALAD

1 lb. spaghetti (thin)
1/4 c. McCormick Salad Supreme (for tossed salads)
6 oz. Wishbone Italian dressing
2 c. cut up fresh vegetables
1 tbsp. salad oil

Fresh Vegetables - ex. tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper, mushrooms, celery and scallions.
Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water with oil. Drain and rinse until cool. Mix in salad supreme seasoning and Italian dressing. Add fresh vegetables. Refrigerate if not used immediately.

Spaghetti Salad

Original recipe yield:

READY IN 30 Min

INGREDIENTS
12 ounces thin spaghetti
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup diced pepperoni
1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
1 avocado, peeled and diced
1 (8 ounce) bottle Italian salad dressing

DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile in a large salad bowl, add the cheese, pepperoni, ham, green pepper, tomato, onion, cucumber and olives. Add avocado if desired.
Rinse pasta with cold water; drain well. Place on top of salad ingredients. Drizzle with salad dressing: toss lightly to coat. Chill until serving.

Shrimp and Pasta Salad

INGREDIENTS:
14 ounces angel hair pasta
1 bunch green onions, sliced (6 to 8)
1 (about 4 ounces) can sliced black olives
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 pound cooked and peeled shrimp
2 chicken breast halves, grilled and coarsely chopped

Dressing:
3/4 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
dash salt
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 cup olive oil

PREPARATION:
Boil angel hair pasta according to package directions; drain and let cool. Add green onions, bell peppers, black olives, shrimp and chopped chicken. Mix dressing ingredients; pour over salad. Refrigerate, and serve cold.
Make this salad a day ahead. Serve on romaine lettuce leaves with sliced avocado or melon on the side.
Shrimp salad serves 10 to 12.

Spaghetti Salad Recipe
* 1/2 pound leftover spaghetti noodles
* 12 cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
* 1 bottles Zesty Italian salad dressing
* 2 cucumbers, chopped
* 1 small onion, chopped

PREPARATION:
In a large bowl mix all of the ingredients except the salad dressing. Add trhe salad dressing to taste, it will not take the whole bottle. Chill for 8 hours or overnight, tossing the salad every so often.If the salad looks dry, you may add more dressing. Serve cold.
