Sour carbonara. help me fix it!?
I accidentally put 1cup apple cidar vinegar instead of 1cup vermouth with the 2cup milk + 8egg mixture on a 2pound pasta.
I cooked a lot but it tastes sour. Anyone has a secret fix to this?

There is nothing you can do. The vinegar caused a chemical reaction that is irreversible.
I'm afraid you're going to have to scrap that one...that much vinegar will curdle the dairy that you added. Sorry.
Oh dear. Can you cut it with some fat? Real butter? Hmmm. I can get salt out of just about any dish, but vinegar...not so much. I'd probably start over. Sorry!
I just have to ask, how do you do that accidentally? Were you drinking the vermouth? They don't even remotely taste alike. Sorry about your meal though.
