How do I eat tofu and what is the best way to prepare it?!

Question:

How do I eat tofu and what is the best way to prepare it?

I am from Russia and this is not exactly a Russian dish. I have never bought tofu before nor seen tofu before. In fact, last week was the first time I have noticed tofu in my grocery store.

Answers:
For you it is too new to eat it traditional style. I would recommend frying it preferably in a wok with green onion, garlic, soy sauce, ginger and ground beef. It will be very flavorful and easy to adapt too.

Many japanese eat it alone and dip it into a mixture of soy sauce, green onion and ginger.

If you have ever had fried tofu, it is awesome.

Pick it up,look at it real hard,& then put it back on the shelf!
If you have brought it home, then put it in the trash.Basically it is a tasteless mess that takes too much time to prepare for the human pallette.

Fry it

Yes fry it..slice it thin & fry like a cheese sandwich in between slices of bread with swiss & mozzerella or whatever you like. Tofu will absorb the flavor of whatever you put it with. It is also good in lasagna which also needs swiss & mozzerella

open the package very carefully, slice it into exactly 1/2 inch cubes, put it in a coffee filter and strain all the liquid off it then put it in the trash can tie the bag tightly and take it out to the nearest dumpster.
