How do you cook a deer meat?
Answers:
The same way you would cook beef, I always use a little olive oil as it is a very lean meat
Depends on what cut of meat you have. One suggestion that I learned from my mom, when you cook game (like deer) be sure to use lemon-pepper or lemon juice: it helps reduce the game-y taste.
Oh no.....poor deer.
When it is ground, it makes an excellent Chili Bean dish.
You can cook Deer steaks in some olive oil, smother it with Onions and brown gravy and simmer for at least 45 min.
Good luck and good eating!!
The best way is to marinade overnight and the next evening BBQ.
This only works if you have medium/small pieces.
One of the marinades I know of that is famous for dear meat is the following. You might want add some cinamon before putting it on the BBQ
Vegetable oil, yougurt, Chili paste, Garlic paste, Ginger paste, salt and bbq sauce
If you know how to use a pressure cooker, try this. Season your meat and then brown it on all sides, once browned add about 1 cup of beef stock and chopped onions and garlic. Pressure cook it for about 45 minutes. It should be tender. You can also brown it on your stove top and then put it in your crockpot with carrots and bell pepper and onions - this works great too!
SOMETIMES YES AND SOMETIMES NO

Chicken Fried Venision Fingers:
I cut round steaks into strips and pound them out. Soak in buttermilk (or 1 cup of sweet milk with a tablespoon of vinegar) for 10 minutes. Pat dry, dip in egg then flour and pan fry in 1/4 inch of canola oil on medium high, turning once until just cooked. Don't crowd the pieces, do batches.Remove to paper towels, salt and pepper to taste. Make southern pan style cream gravy (flour, milk, salt, pepper) from the pan drippings and serve with mashed potatoes or new potatoes.
.Just like a similar cut of beef
