How long do u cook a boneless beef brisket ?!

Question:

How long do u cook a boneless beef brisket ?

its pre seasoned and its a little over 6 pounds...please and what temp. in the oven

Answers:
I smoked a 6lb brisket on Memorial Day for 6 hours at a temp. of 200. They say the rule of thumb is an hour for every pound. Mine came out perfect, it is usually done when the inside temp reaches 160

4 hours

Too long every time, buy some better beef!

the secret to good brisket is slow cooking
place it in aluminum foil with a little water and seal it tight.
bake at 230 (approx) for at least 4 hours.(longer is better)

an hour per pound is right but...invest in a smoker pit.We like to use oak but the main reason its so plentiful here.Find a good dry rub that you like and preseason it over nite.I also like to cut about 70% of the fat off beforeI do anything.

When I cook my brisket I smoke It. Using this method I usually cook the brisket between 6 - 12 hours at 220 - 250 degrees depending on the size. If you are going to do it in the oven you can place it in foil then put it in a roasting pan and bake it at. 325 degrees for about 4-6 hours.
