anthony bourdain is brilliant. he's well educated and read (in everything, not just culinary, he's crusty, he's a chain smoking alcoholic, he'll try anything, and he's brutally honest. he's a great author too.

I'm not saying it's the best (?) but check out "Lyon in the Kitchen", I think it's on the discovery channel. If you watched the last challenge to find the new Foodnetwork Star, you will recognize him as the guy they let go of before it came down to reggie and guy. He's pretty good and they don't edit out the boo boo's, which make's it pretty realistic. His show mostly features a healthy way of cooking.
