Question about a dish a user suggested w/liver?

If I took brussel sprouts and cooked them until they were soft, and made them into a paste. If I added olive oil, garlic, onions and what? Could I take my liver cut it thin and broil it and use it as a sauce? What could I add to the brussel sprout paste to give it an exotic flavor?

You could make a type of pesto, instead of using basil, replace with your brussell sprouts. Brussel sprouts, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper and parmesan cheese. It would probably be tasty spread on top of slices of toasted baguette. If you want to use it as a sauce for your liver, you may want to thin it with a small amount of chicken broth.

lemon

Balsamic vinegar?

Toated pine nuts?

bwaha.

Fennel seeds will give it a nice slight savory twist. But you could always pour some habanjero sauce in it to really liven things up.
