Answers:
Pesto Sauce/Dressing for pasta salads...

Pesto is a basil based mix...use pesto from deli section, never use factory bottled pesto..it has a totally different taste.

This is a delicious dressing for a pasta salad..throw in some cooked sugar snap peas and chopped tomatoes for extra color and flavor..sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese

I always use ranch dressing in my pasta salads its awesome but if u wont to spice it up a little bit put some celery seeds in it if ur not allergic to celery seeds. good luck with ur pasta

I like to put a lot of italian dressing on mine.....its too yummy

I MAKE THIS , 1 CLOVE OF GARLIC,OLIVEOIL,SALT,A PINCH OF RED PEPPER FLAKES, ,BALSAMIC VINEGAR, A SPLASH, AND ABOUT 4 BASIL LEAVESPUT IN BLENDER,AND ADD TO PASTA WHEN HOT, NAMASTE

I like a lemon vinaigrette for pasta salad. It's the juice of two lemons, the zest of one, a spoonful of garlic, 1/3 cup of olive oil, a big pinch of dried oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

When I first started making pasta salad, I used Kraft low-fat Italian Parmesan dressing. I don't know if they make that anymore, but if you can find it, it's good!

Oil and vinegar or Italian come to mind right away. If you have the ingredients just about any tangy type of vinaigrette will work.

I usually just use Ricotta cheese and a little bit of mayo with minced onion and celery, shredded carrot, salt, celery salt, and pepper. Add a little paprika on top for color and flavor. Yummy :)

For catering events with pasta salad we do something very simple we use 4 parts Italian dressing to one part mayonnaise you still get the tang from the dressing plus a creaminess from the mayonnaise
