Answers:
Just keep practicing. Read lots of cook books and try new things. Watch the cooking channel on tv. Cook with other people (mom or grandma) that have a lot more experience than you and pay attention. Have fun! I'll eat in your restaurant someday. :)

You need to watch your mom or someone that cooks n your house.

read alot of booooks (:

This is so great that you want to learn to bake and cook!! All you really need to do is practice! Talk to people who know what they are doing, people who have been cooking for a long time. Ask people to help you ! Take a home ec course in school or check around your town to see if they offer an type of cooking classes. Look around on the internet for cooking sites, find recipes that you like and just practice, it's the best way to become a really cook cook. The site below is one of my favorites for recipes. They have all sorts of different things, so just check it out, and have fun!!

practice, practice, practice.

When baking a cake or similar item:
1. Get a pastry brush and paint softened butter throughout the batter area, then dust flour throughout. You cake will come out easily without breaking up.
2. Of course always preheat your oven.
3. When making gravy, bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat this will turn everything to a gravy texture.

Hey there !! :) U sound just like me when I was a child. See if your local library has any connections w/food svc or culinary oriented establishments. Go online or look in the phone book 4 vocational school's that may offer intro to cooking courses. I know U said that U r only 13 but most programs don't have an age requirement or if they do u might have to bring Mom along. Best of luck with your culinary endevours. :) p.s.- buy the book 30 Minute Meals- Cooking Rocks! is's approx. $15 & give's age specific recipes. You'll b saying Yum-O 4 sure

hey im 15 but like u ive wanted to learn how to cook and bake from early on peaople say ive got a knack for it but i guess its just luck that things turn out right for me lol. nah some tips:
start baking ,its easier i find and if u ruin it at lest your whole familes dinner isnt wreaked and it tastes really good
most old recipies say to add salt but truthfully its not really needed they just said it back then as a preservative to make the food last longer
to much baking powder sucks, trust me ruined my muffins!!
one of the best things to do is help a parent or maid when they prepare your meal then you get the hang of things

lol in the words of Marie Barone(everybody loves raymond): Cook with love!
