How do you cook corn on a gas grill?
Answers:
Trim "beard" from flower end of corn. Keep the husk on.
Bring water to a boil in a pot large enough to submerge the corn. Add approximately 1/2 cup of milk, 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt for every quart of water used. Place corn into boiling milk and water mixture, shut the heat, and keep covered for 1/2 hour.
Place corn on oiled grill set at a medium flame. Turn 1/4 turn every 5 minutes. Serve with butter or your favorite corn topping. Keep some paper bags at tableside so that your guests can shuck the corn themselves. The husk comes off very easily when prepared this way.

In process of writing a BBQ cookbook. This is one of my favorite ways to BBQ corn.
easy. Just put the corn on the grill for about 15 minutes with the lid closed. Make sure it is not directly over the flame. Then turn it around and let it cook another 5 minutes. Comes out really good. I like to put it over a flame for a minute or two for that extra taste, after it is cooked.
leave in husk. wet the whole thing. put on grill. rotate after 10 minutes.
wrap it in tin foil
leave husks on low to med heat ,
take husks off low heat just like on regular charcoal grill
xt286 gave you the right information. I like to leave it long enough so the husks actually char. This really brings out the natural sugar in the kernels. It's fantastic.
wrap it in foil with butter and seasoning
Remove the leaf and beard. Smear with butter. Put on the edge of the griddle and turn fairly frequently.
Two ways.
Peel back the husk but don't pull off. Remove silk and pull the husk back up. Place on grill turning 1/3 as the husk starts to burn slightly.
Peel and remove silk. Stir soy sauce and olive oil together. Brush on corn and grill turning about every 3 minutes.
Both ways I have fairly hot charcoal.
