Whats the best recipe for a one-bowl cake? Something really easy please!?
Answers:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2/3 cup oil
1 cup buttermilk, sourcream, yorgort, or sour milk
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp soda

Mix all together in a bowl in any order you like. Dont bother with an electric mixer, a wooden spoon works great. Dont worry too mcuh about it being lumpy or uneven.
Pour into a greased pan (2 8" rounds, 9x13, or similar)
bake for 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.

When I want easy and quick I make a chocolate pudding pie (you can make any kind of pudding). I buy instant pudding, a Redi-Crust, (I prefer chocolate flavored when making chocolate pudding) and cool whip...wella....easy dessert for 8. If you want to get a little more creative throw some berries on top of the cool whip when serving.
This cake is sooo easy and delicious! http://www.hersheys.com/recipes/recipes/...
Victoria Sandwich Cake
4oz butter
4oz sugar
4oz self-raising flour
2 eggs
mix all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. don't bother seiving flour-it's a waste of time for this cake. split mixture into 2 greased sandwich cake tins or 1 big sqare tin. bake at 180 degrees celsius for about half an hour or until a knife comes out clean from it.
Jam is nice in between the 2 layers and you don't necessarily need anything on top because it will be so moist and spongy.
enjoy!
