Homemade Curry or Takeaway Curry?!

Question:

Homemade Curry or Takeaway Curry?

Which one and Which Curry do you like?

Answers:
definitely homemade - especially my own... you never know what other people throw into there curries

Homemade ,Pataks madras lovely stuff.

Takeaway chicken curry, not vindaloo. I can never make it come out right at home.

homemade curry (thai red or chicken & potato curry taught to me by a Mauritian guy)

.....................

but then the popadoms and onion salad / mint sauce are such a vital part of the curry experience - it has to be takeaway for me!!!

I love both especially if the home made one use authentic spices. Have a particular love for Chicken Tikka Balti with Pesaari Nan Breads and Poppadums, If the flavouring is out of a bottle or can forget it.

home made then even if it sucks the girl/guy will know u still tryed not just piked up the phone and diled a few numbers its the tjought that a home made dish can send out . molly

Now with all the lovely Indian spices and sauces around it is easier to make your own curry and at least you know what meat is in there instead of searching to see if your neighbours cat has disappeared! *Lol*

takeaways are very oily. Home made curries are more healthy

takeaway, but only from one shop. i worked there for a few nights so i know their hygiene is up to scratch. i like chicken madras with veggie rice, onion bhaji, cauliflower bhaji, mushroom bhaji and bombay aloo. i share this between 3 of us. my husband has chicken jalfrazi which i find to hot. on the occasions i do make a curry myself it is quite tame compared to the takeaway

My curry is fine because I do not have the curry powder the Indian restaurant chef has. But given the choice, I'd rather dine at an Indian Restaurant because Indian Curry is best, in my opinion. (I am Chinese)

Home-made everytime!Personally i love potato curry. herbs of your choice, curry powder, salt, tumeric, stock cube, garam masala optional. then you can use onions and potatoes and peas, sweetcorn, or use chicken if you dont want potatoes. corn flour at the end if you want to thicken it.

Where I am .People can cook curry! So I am most likely to get a good curry which is homemade Indian style even if I buy it. It all depends on where I buy. But making it home is great too, because u can put what u want in it.
I do like homemade.
U make me want curry now. I am going to make fish curry tomorrow for lunch.

i've started 2 buy just couple of portions of currysauce from take away & adding my own chicken &veg much cheaper but still great taste

Homemade every time, because then you know exactly what has gone into it

The homemade curry is better, but if I am too lazy to make one I would get a takeaway curry. So I guess it is a bit of both depending on the mood.

I can get several indian and Thai curry sauces and spice blends at the Asian Food Mart so generally at home. I have two local places that have Thai curry but they are both Chinese restraunts, the thai place closed.
