What is your best baked fish recipe?

I use tilapia fish most of the time but like other types also.


Answers:
I use this simple recipe for fish steaks I.E. tilapia or salmon or catfish
salt and pepper the fish to your taste (we use garlic salt) and place in tin-foil then place a thin cut slice of lemon on top of the fish, place a pat of butter on top then bake till fish flakes serve with steamed veggies and garlic bread and enjoy

Broccoli Fish Bake

Prep Time: 15 min. - Bake Time: 20 min.


1 pkg. (about 10 oz.) frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained OR 1 lb. fresh broccoli, cut into spears, cooked and drained
1 lb. fresh OR thawed frozen firm white fish fillets (cod, haddock or halibut)
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's(R) Condensed Cream of Broccoli Soup
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. butter, melted
1/8 tsp. paprika

Directions:
ARRANGE broccoli in 2-qt. shallow baking dish. Top with fish. Mix soup and milk and pour over fish. Sprinkle with cheese.
MIX bread crumbs, butter and paprika and sprinkle on top. Bake at 450 degreesF. for 20 min. or until fish is done.
Serves 4.

Haddock Au Gratin

1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. minced parsley
1 tbsp. diced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lb. haddock (or any white fish)

Heat oven to 400 degrees. In small bowl combine all ingredients except fish. Place fish on individual squares of greased foil. Spoon crumb mixture over fish. Seal securely and bake 25-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily. 6 servings.

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4 (6 ounce) salmon steaks
1/2 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a small bowl, mix honey, mustard, and lemon juice. Spread the mixture over the salmon steaks. Season with pepper. Arrange in a medium baking dish.
Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until fish easily flakes with a fork.enjoy

Start with Orange Roughy. [ one lb. apx. one
inch thick. Any
kind of fish.]
Put in glass dish [ with lid] in Microwave and set for what ever is recommended by manufacturer. Put in teaspoon of lemon, salt and pepper along with whatever seasonings you like.
This along with the juices from the fish make the best sauce. It is fast,easy and tasty!

I'm famous for my Baked MExican Fish!
Put fillets (salmon or catfish) in a baking pan. Pour a 1/4 cup salsa on each one. Drop a handle full of crushed corn-chips on top of the salsa. Top with a small handfull of grated cheese on each one. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serve with guacamole, lime slices and sour cream.

Line baking sheet with foil and smear a couple of aTablespoons oil down center. Place 4 sea bass filets on foil.Place 2 thin slices of lemon under each filet.Thinly slice 2 cloves of garlic, and saute in olive oil ( 2 Tablespoons ) with 12 cherry tomatoes cut in half for about 2 minutes.Add 3 Tablespoons capers and some salt and pepper. Spoon mixture over fish and cover loosley with another piece of foil and crimp the two pieces of foil together. Bake at 400 for about 10 - 15 minutes.Serve with lemon wedges.
