So they can charge you more and so you can produce more rubbish so the council can charge you more council tax to take it all away!

I thought that when I bought a shrink wrapped coconut the other day from Morrisons!

Oooo don't get me started...I'm sick to the back teeth with all this damned packaging !!!! The powers that be want us to recycle more but everything we buy is packed in unrecyclable material Aarrrghhh

to stop the vegetable people inside from escaping!

Never mind all this blah about unnecessary packaging. If you don't want that either grow it yourself or buy it from the farm shop.

It's just that by the time the stuff gets to you it would be wilting, then you could complain about it as well. Like "why oh why is my Savoy cabbage not fresh?"

Agree about the product though. The best of of all cabbages. A perfect mixture of light & dark.

Ridiculous isn't it? I refuse to by such items - a certain supermarket near me (used to be Safeway) shrink wrap single peppers - what for and give bunches of bananas little plastic tags so you can't pick you own bunch! I hate them (supermarket, not bananas)
