What temperature do you need to cook a potato?!

Question:

What temperature do you need to cook a potato?

Answers:
Throw it at the sun!!! You ask silly questions too!!!

Microwave 1-2 minutes, or maybe 30 seconds.

wrap it in tin foil and bake at 350 for about 45 min. micro for 5 to 7 min. on high.

350 or 400 degrees in the oven.

Oven Baked
Heat oven to 425oF. Pierce potato in several places to allow steam to escape. Place potato on oven rack or baking sheet. Bake 40 to 55 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. (The number of potatoes being baked does not change baking time.)

Microwave-Baked
Pierce 1 potato several times to allow steam to escape. Place in microwave oven; microwave on high (100% power) until tender, turning potato over halfway. For medium-size potatoes (about 5 ounces), microwave 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes. For larger potatoes (about 9 ounces), microwave 5 to 9 minutes.

I take mine and rinse well, then rub skins with butter. Wrap in foil & bake @ 350 degrees for 1 to 1 & 1/2 hour, turning every 30 minutes. They will just start to give when done, check @ the 1 hour mark, then every 10 minutes........Perfect every time!!
