Can you use spaghetti as a Shish Kabob skewer?!

Question:

Can you use spaghetti as a Shish Kabob skewer?

You see, I'm kind of hungry and a little desperate. I was wondering; can I use spaghetti as a shish kabob skewer? I can't find the wooden skewers anywhere and was wondering if this was...um...not toxic.

Answers:
No, you cannot. The spaghetti will burn on the grill. Find wooden skewers on the internet or buy metal ones. They sell them just about everywhere this time of year: Wal-Mart, The Dollar Store, Lowe's & Home Depot. Ask a salesclerk if you can't find them. If you use the wooden ones, remember to soak them in water for at least half an hour to keep them from burning on the grill. This technique will not work with spahgetti.

not toxic but they break fairly easy . Give em a try never know .

Their so weak I would imagine that they would break as you start adding your Stuff onto them , how about butter knives just be careful and use a hand mitt when you take them off the grill.

they r sold in most supermarkets...

or try 1 time use chopsticks

Good luck, buddy. If you are lucky enough to actually get it to go through food, the spaghetti will go limp when you cook it. Why don't you go out in your yard and find a stick?

Most Dollars stores sell them.

oh how i would love to watch someone trying to do that i think it would be funnnnnnnnnnney

You can't really use spaghetti as a skewer mainly because the spaghetti would break if it is used to poke through meat or chicken. Hey but you can try, it's not toxic mainly because both spaghetti and meat/chicken are both edible.
Good Luck ^-^
