Answers:
Most likely white vinegar with a little sugar added this is what was popular when I was a child. In fact I still make it today. Now though I prefer to use terragon venigar it gives it a little extra flavor. Hope this helps, enjoy!

plain clear

Rice vinegar. For extra yumminess add a little sesame oil and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top.

My Mom used just plain old white vinegar when she was doing anything with cucumbers, especially for making pickles or for doing salads.

White vinegar.....if you want to pickle the cucumbers slice and cover them in salt over night, wash off the salt then jar them & completely cover them in vinegar....in a few days you will have very tasty "pickled cucumbers" though the longer you leave them the better they taste....thats if you don't eat them all straight away!!!!

My Granny usesd to use Malt Vinegar with a little sugar, but I find white or sushi vinegar tastes best.

And now i've answered that, I'm off to make a cucumber sandwich lol.

distilled white vinagar is wat we use!!!

GOD Bless U!!!

You can use Rice Wine Vinegar which is mild in flavor and goes nicely with cucumbers!

Pickled Cucumber.
Wash and slice, remove skin if you wish.
Soak overnight in salted water.
Drain and rinse thoroughly, add to sterilised jars and cover with Malt or White vinegar and some pickling spice (optional).

you can also use cider vinegar......it does have a different taste....white is ok, but cider is best for this......malt is sorta like balsamic and is darker.....

White wine vinegar or apple vinegar
