Can you make popcorn from corn on the cob?!

Question:

Can you make popcorn from corn on the cob?

Answers:
no its not the same species of corn

Only if it's the pop corn variety. Popping corn is not the same as sweet corn.

no

yes you can i think .

Yes you can but you will need to dry it first. The Aztec Indians were the first to make popcorn. Do you think they had a special variety of corn just for popping? No. Any type of dried corn can be used to make popcorn. All you need is a little heat, oil and corn.

sorry but who cares?!? jus buy it packaged ot in the kernal form! and buy a kernal popper

sweetcorn will never make popping corn because of water and sugar content. The early corn was the kind that was dried out and popped in hot sand not oil. Grow your own popping corn.
