Question:

How do you skin a dog-fish so i can cook it [rock salmon, huss]?

Answers:
It has a skin like leather, best way is to cut the head of and pull the skin downwards with plyers or anything that will grip.
no fear about bones its got a cartilage spine.

FYI rock salmon (spiny dog fish) is fast becoming an endangered speciesd ue to over fishing, v popular in fish & chip shops. Enjoy but please buy alternative in future.

you will need a Stanley knife, and watch your fingers, make an incision, and with a pair of pliers its a matter of brute strength, they used to use there skin as sandpaper years back?

Hang the fish on a butchers hook inserted under the bottom jaw, make an incision around the body just below the head, take a pair of pliers & roll the skin down - in my opinion the flesh is better pan fried in butter than deep fried
