A nice sauce idea for cooking with Chicken & Vege's?!

Question:

A nice sauce idea for cooking with Chicken & Vege's?

I saw Jamie Oliver live the other night and he made a pouch (from foil) to go in the oven and chucked in some chicken and vege's and some noodles... I didn't like the sauce he was making but I was hoping for some ideas on some good combos to chuck in with chicken that might be nice (It can't be spicy or peanut based as my hubby has allergies) Thanks :)

Answers:
tomato garlic sauce:

to a sauce pan, add 1/3 cup olive oil

melt in 1/2 stick of butter

once well heated and blended, add 2 tblspn garlic

add salt and pepper to taste

stir in 3 tblspn tomato sauce

bring to a simmer and simmer while stirring frequently for 0 minutes

add to chicken pouch

Alfredo will go great with it.

How about melted cheese? Or you can use orange or lemon sauce. Or you can log on to www.mccormick.com or www.allrecipes.com

I'd say a nice, homemade pesto (very easy to make--just basil, pine nuts, parm. cheese, and olive oil in a food processor) will go nice with all of those ingredients together.

Hi!I I use heavy cream with a stick of butter, lemon, parsley,
tarragon , black pepper. It's great for chicken and veggies.
Heat your frying pan pour out half pint of heavy cream add one stick of butter add one whole lemon and spicy's. taste
if you like more lemon add more.
Also try adding sundried tomotoes with artichoke hearts on top of your chicken.
use bonless skinless chix breast season add your sundried tomotoes and artichoke hearts place sauce on top and bake for about 45 min covered and then 10 min uncovered,
this is so...... good

i like a honey and whole grain mustard. add cream or natural yogurt, a small amount of hjoney and maybe a table spoon of whole grain mustard. yummy
