I'm looking for a good bread machine w/ a gluten program and a good price. Help?!

Question:

I'm looking for a good bread machine w/ a gluten program and a good price. Help?

I dont really want to spend more then $100, but I also need a really good bread machine. Something thats easy to clean, and easy to use. I only need it to make gluten free bread so I want it to have that option on it.
I've never owned nor used a bread machine before so I need something simple, and a machine that will be easy to get the ingredients in and easy to get the bread out.
Thanks.

Hi! I cannot remember the name of the machine, but I know where u can find one that over 1 thousand ppl with Celiac Disease voted on!! GO to Yahoo Health Groups "SillyYaks". Join the group and look for a member named Joy (just make a post looking for her and her "Homer Awards" she'll know what u mean.) Or u can look in the files, it might be in there. Anyway, the Celiac's on there voted on the best and worst of Gluten free food, equipment and lifestyles. One was the bread machine. I want to say it was Sunbeam but I'm not sure. She can tell u exactly which one it was and they can tell u how they like theirs. Not all bread machines will make good gluten free bread bc the flours are denser and thicker.
Best of luck Amy

You don't need a machine with a gluten free program, if they even make one. It iwll be GF if you use GF recipes. I've been using my Sunbeam for almost 5 years now without a problem. I think I paid about $35.00 for mine. I just got the cheapest one Walmart had.

By the way, if your GF bread recipe calls for using gelatine in it, then make sure the bread completely cools before you slice it! Gelatine does not "set" until it reaches room temperature. The bread will taste fine if you do not wait, but your breadknife will end up covered with a gummy mess that you will have to clean several times before you are finished slicing the bread.

Another thing, GF bread has no preservatives, so it spoils very quickly. Wrap half of the sliced bread tightly in plastic wrapp and freeze it to prevent spoilage.
