Can i use light cream instead of milk to make mousse?!

Question:

Can i use light cream instead of milk to make mousse?

The directions say "In a small bowl, blend mousse mix and milk together with a wisk. Stir vigorisly for 2min or with a mixer on high speed. Cover and place in fridge untill needed"

Answers:
Well, depends on what kind of milk it asks for. I wouldn't think it would ask for skim, because that doesn't have enough fat to get "whipped". If it asks for whole or 2% milk, I would strongly recommend using light cream, especially if you like your mousse nice, thick, and creamy.

It would probably taste richer, so do it.

I am sure you could .... however, I think that the selling point of the mix is that there is something in the mix itself that makes the end result taste creamy .... and you only need to buy milk .... less expensive than cream and therefore easier on your household
