Does jello melt if i do not put it in a refrigerator for the whole day?!

Question:

Does jello melt if i do not put it in a refrigerator for the whole day?

because i have to bring jello to school and have no access to a refrigerator

Answers:
Duh, it's a liquid!! If you HAVE to take jello and don't have a cold place to put it...I would suggest you put the dish over a dish of ice or inside of a cooler. Warm and melting jello isn't going to go over well. Ask the cafeteria to hold it, or the teachers lounge.

if it is warm enought it will melt.

NO

Yes if it is a hot day it will start to liquify. Maybe you can find an insulated tote, and keep it cool with an ice pack until you are ready to serve them.

You will need to put it on ice, or have someone store it in a fridge at school for you.

Either the teacher's lounge or the cafeteria should be able to help.

after a while depends on how hot the room is!

eventually, depends on the temp as to how long this will take. choose the coolest place possible worst case put it in a container with a lid on and flat the container in a sink full of cold water, at least that will slow the process of melting

It gets runny after awhile at room temp.Make rice crispy treats instead.Everybody love rice crispy treats.

Yes it will melt.
Use those disposible foil pans; buy 2.
Put some ice in one and your jello in the other.
Stack the one with jello on top and cover securely. It should help it last all day.

yes jell-o will melt in a few hours. you can not freeze it either. you might be able to put it in something with some of those blue ice things around it but not to close as it might freeze in spots. Is there a home ec room that has a fridge you can use?

Yes it does
