Well, I am also going to add baked beans as a suggestion. Here's my recipe.
Sorry I dont have exact measurements.
Baked Beans
4 or 5 cans of campbells pork and beans then add ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chopped onion, karo syrup, and lil smokies and bake them in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 350'. Talk about delicious.
Sometimes i use beef smoked sausage or kielbasa pieces instead of the lil smokies. =0)
Hashbrown Potato Casserole
2 pounds. frozen hashbrowns potatoes, thawed
10 oz pkg cheddar cheese, grated
8 oz. sourcream
1 can cream of celery
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 stick butter, melted
Mix all other ingredients together. Put in greased casserole. Bake at 350' for 45-55 minutes.
Well, the obvious would be corn on the cob, fresh fruit, potato salad or coleslaw, baked beans.
For an easy pasta salad, mix al dente elbow macaroni with a mix of mayo and miracle whip, a couple drops of yellow mustard and mix with your favorite veggie (I like cucumbers and mushrooms but you can add tomatoes, broccoli, etc) you can add some diced meat like chicken or ham, boiled eggs whites too, I like to leave the meat out but sprinkle in some Bacon Bits, I also add very small cubed Cheddar cheese.
There is this fabulous coleslaw recipe on topsecretrecipes.com it is the KFC clone, it's great!

Well you gotta have baked beans, deviled eggs, some type of salad, maybe a pasta salad, corn on the cob etc. Here are some recipes to help;
SOUTHERN BAKED BEANS
1 lb ground beef
2 cans pork and beans
1 cup barbecue sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar (or more according to taste)
1 small onion, finely chopped
Brown ground beef and drain. Pour remaining ingredients into a large pot and let simmer for 30 minutes or until onion is somewhat tender.
No need to bake!
CHICKEN PASTA SALAD
3 Chicken Breasts
2 cups Rotini or Shell Pasta (cooked, rinsed and cooled)
1/2 Red Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper
8-10 cherry tomatoes (halved)
1/4 cup Feta cheese crumbled (optional)
1/4 Ceasar Salad Dressing (more or less to taste and to coat)
Cook chicken until no longer pink in middle. Chop into small pieces. Chop peppers and add to tomatoes in large bowl. Add chicken, pasta and feta to large bowl. Add Ceasar salad dressing and mix well. Refigerate until needed.
DEVILED EGGS
6 eggs
1/4 tsp prepared mustard
1/8 tsp dill
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1/8 tsp white pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp salt
1-2 tsp milk
Place eggs in a pan and cover with water. Boil eggs for about 4 minutes.
Remove from heat and place in ice water. Let cool down to room temperature.
Peel under cold running water. Slice eggs in half. Place egg whites on a plate or serving tray rinsed and dried.
Mash egg yolks with a fork and add all ingredients except for paprika.
If desired, you can add more mayonnaise with a little bit of milk (small amounts at a time, as you can always add but not take out or you'll end up boiling another egg or two.. lol..)
Fill each half about a teaspoon and sprinkle with paprika. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
Makes about 6 servings. Be creative, top with bay shrimp, anchovies, or add some of your favorite spices.

John, have I got the dish for you. It is NOT for the calorie conscious. It is for a big-ish crowd though.
Cut up an entire pound of bacon into half inch pieces and fry to a crisp. Do not drain the bacon fat. Set pan aside.
Cut off and discard the root ends of an entire big bunch of scallions and chop onions into little pieces. Throw in pan and fry with bacon until somewhat crispy.
Throw in a cup of seasoned or Italian-style breadcrumbs, like 4C brand. Toss around with bacon and onions until crumbs are toasted.(darkened)
Take three cans of Bush's Baked Beans and put them in a casserole dish. Top with the mixture. Cover with foil.
Bake for 1/2 hour to 45 min, until everything is bubbling nicely. Let cool for a bit and serve. Stand back and accept compliments.
I take potatoes wash them leave the skin on slice thin in aluminum foil layer with butter salt and pep and onion make pouch out of foil , pour a beer in there cover top with foil lay right on the burner of grill . Ready 30 min they steam in the beer they are delicious had them today..
An Italian Pasta Salad
1 pound tri color rotini
3/4 to 1 cup Italian salad dressing (more or less depending on your preference).
1 Plum tomato, seeded and chopped (can subsititute grape tomatoes sliced in half).
small can sliced black olives
1/2 bell pepper (green, red, orange etc. whichever you prefer), diced
25 to 30 pepperoni slices, quartered
2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta, drain and cool (to do this quickly run it under cold water for a few minutes). Add chopped ingredients, amounts can vary, just eyeball it so it has a nice mix of everything. Then add the dressing, toss so everything is well coated. If you have leftovers you might need more dressing the next day as the pasta will soak a lot of it up.
