How do you know if chicken is undercooked?!

Question:

How do you know if chicken is undercooked?

Answers:
The juices are not clear when you stick a fork in the middle.

chicken will still be pink inside when not fully cooked. when in doubt cut into it.

Chicken should always be thoroughly cooked. The way that I determine if it's done enough is to be sure that it feels firm to the touch. If I'm cooking a thicker piece, I occasionally will cut into it to see if any pink remains around the bone. The meat should all be that whitish color.

You look near the bone of the chicken piece, and if it is pink or bloody, it undercooked!

If it starts turning back into egg.

Unless that means it's overcooked.

The meat will be pinkish and red next to the bone Or use a cooking thermometer if is at 160 deg re or 180 degree it is done

Check next to the bone. It can be pink, but should not have a pinkish fluid. You don't want to overcook it too much though. Chicken is one of your safer meats.

When the juices running out of it are pink. Probe into the thickest part with a sharp knife to the bone. If the juices are still pink, keep cooking. The bones can be be red and the meat cooked so that is not an good test unless you want to cook the chicken to shoe leather.

Generally chicken is done when the juices run clear. When in doubt though, cut it open and make sure no pink is left.

If you prick the flesh with a skewer the juices will still be pink. They'll be clear/slightly golden when cooked

cut into it & if it's pink at all it's not done. do not eat it

well one big ques is if u r cooking it whole or by the piece, or on the bone or off the bone
one good way is to get a cooking thermometer and when inserted ( but not at the bone) it has markings and the needle will move up to the right internal meat temp
if on the bone and like barbqueing, it should be left on about 40 mins total time ( usuallyu have a warming area, or area away from the coals) and if u r boiling it in water, give the chicken at least 30 minutes in a slowly boiling water covered and under a slow heat just enough to maintain the water boiling, if its boneless and in a pan, usualy when clear liquid comesout of the piece when pressed with a fork indicates that it is done, but if u r a beginner or in doubt, or just want to be sure, the cooking thermometer is the best choice!
happy cooking

If it is still pink or red near the bone it is not done. The meat should be white all the way though.

Don't worry about a little pink near the bone; that's just because the chicken is young. You want (as someone said) the juices to run clear. Instant-read thermometers are in drugstores now.

it is dry
