What are some good substitutes for raisins in baked recipes?!

Question:

What are some good substitutes for raisins in baked recipes?

Not Chocolate or nuts!

Answers:
I guess it would depend in the recipe, but here are a few tasty suggestions (all are dried fruits):
cherries
cranberries
currants
blueberries
apricots (diced)
plums (diced)
dates (chopped)

Dried cranberries, coconut, granola....

Cranberries are nice - more for colour than taste. Chopped dried apricots or dates work well too.

chopped maraschino cherries, dried cranberries

Chopped dates or any dried fruit.

I would use craisens. They are the closest thing to raisens so your recipes would come out nearly perfect. They are so sweet and yummy! They even come in a few infused flavors now. They are dried cranberries if you haven't heard of them. I know Super Walmart carries them.

CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!!!
Well, I guess you could add a bit of the other suggestions too. (everything tastes better with some chocolate)

Chopped dates are wonderful. Yumsers!
