Not as far as I can see. I have done a search on my favorite site for meatloaves cooked this way and nothing comes up.

Yes, it can. It's dee-lish too.

Yes, I have done it, but you will need something to set it on (like a meat rack) so it doesn't sit directly on the bottom. Otherwise it will burn and sit in the grease that drains off of it. See http://www.cooks.com for recipes and ideas.

Yes it can. Most crockpots have an instruction & recipe book. If you don't have one just make the meatloaf like you normally would and then put it in the pot. Cook on low for about 4-5 hours or high for 2-3. Or until it looks done.

I think the crockpot might not work as well as an oven due to the confined space in the pot, as well as the moisture from the meat as it cooks turns to steam and it might steam cook your meatloaf instead of providing a good, even dry temperature that an oven would. But hey whatever man! I mean its not like Chef Po Po himself is likely to walk in and start to critique your meat loaf tonight. And even if he does tell him to get stuffed, he was'ent invited too dinner anyways.

Yes it can. Make a rack of carrots and celery so it doesn't sit on the bottom.

Yes turns out good......

no
