Need to know ASAP!?!

Question:

Need to know ASAP!?

Can I make cookie dough and put it in the fridge to cook tomorrow or will it ruin? if it works how long can I leave it there?

Answers:
About a week will be fine. I make cookie dough and put it in the fridge all the time. Otherwise you can place it in the freezer

ya

Yes. Cover very well with plastic wrap so it doesn't dry out. Could probably leave in the frig for at least a couple of days if needed.

yes you can do that. I wouldn't leave it more than 24 hours.

As long as it is covered tightly, it should be fine. I'm not sure I would store it for an extended period of time in the refrigerator, as it may take on some odors/funky tastes, but overnight should be no problem.

If you plan on storing for an extended period of time, you can also freeze your cookie dough and thaw when you are ready to make cookies. Make sure it is wrapped well.

Of course, some people refrigerate the dough first anyway to make the cookies taller (less flat).

You can leave it out overnight on the counter. We used to do that all the time in the gourmet catering company I worked for because you can't scoop cold dough. The sugar stops the eggs from going bad.

So in the fridge it is fine. You can leave it in the fridge for about 30 days safely.

If it is safe enough for the health inspecters, it is fine.

yes, it will stay good for a few days. But you need to make sure that the dough stays cold, otherwise the cookies will be flat and crumbly.
