Stuffed Hamburgers?!

Question:

Stuffed Hamburgers?

I've actually never had one of these, but i've been seeing a few different recipes lately to make them. I want to make some for a summer cookout and just wanted to see if anyone had a favorite way to make these.

So what are your recipes for making them?

Answers:
This recipe is always a crowd pleaser:

2 lbs. hamburger
2 packets of your favorite gravy
1 cup crumbled crackers (saltine/Ritz)
1 med. new potato per person 2 tbsp. fresh cilantro
2 tsp. crushed red pepper
salt/pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix meat, crackers, chopped cilantro, salt/peeper, crushed red pepper, 1 pkg. gravy, and oil. Best way is to use your hands to mix. Make hamburgers with 1-2 tbsp of cheese in middle. Size of patties depends on amount served.
Skin, clean, and slice appropriate amount of new potatoes. Place 1 pattied on a square of foil w/ 1 potato. Repeat for the rest of the meat and potatoes. Wrap foil around hamburger and potatoes, place in an oven safe dish and bake for 30 min. Unwrap foil and bake for another 15 min. Meanwhile, follow directions on back of second gravy packet. Serve gravy over meat and potatoes. Enjoy.

Just regular hamburger meat with whatever you like - example mustard, bread crumbs, eggs and put some cheese in the middle and grill.

I love my burger stuff with blue cheese or a smokey provolone.

try them with your favourite cheese in the middle, blue or cheedar I like the best. or a chilli cheese mix. or olive paste, or pesto

Cut up Bell Pepper and Onion and mix into beef, and season to taste. (Maybe use a Lipton onion soup mix packet)

I used to always stuff my girlfriend's burger with my banana, but since we broke up I don't do that anymore.

Anyway, just stuff a burger. No recipe needed. Eat what you want to eat. Stuff your burger with what you want it stuffed with.

Chewing gum would be fun. You eat the burger around the edges until you get to the centre, then you finish your meal with a nice minty gumball.

Its basically meatloaf in patty rounds. Take any Meatloaf recipe and adjust it to your tastes.

I made them once, w/ blue cheese in the middle. I swear, that blue cheese disappeared!!! Either it melted and ran out, or just evaporated. So all that work for nothing! >:-[
So now, we just top our cooked burgers w/ what we would have stuffed them with!

take soften butter and add fresh minced garlic, onion powder, some frank's red hot, any other seasoning you like, roll between wax paper (so it looks like a tube of cookie dough) freeze it. when ever you make burgers cut a chunk off and bury it in your hamburger patty before grilling. My sister also cuts chunks of Velveeta & stuffs the burger with it, it adds a great tang! Have fun, good luck!

I take barbecued chips, egg,Dry packet Italian dressing, cat sup, onion, garlic, salt and pepper...mix all up...
Make your burgers big and throw them on the grill.
Delicious

I'm going to try stuffing some onion slices in the middle and see how that works.
