Where can I find half pint wide mouthed canning jars?
My mom has always wanted to start canning and just is always too busy helping others out to have some time to herself so I thought it would be a good idea if I went out and bought her the canning jars so she has a good enough reason to start and to do something she has wanted to do. I know it's nothing huge but still.
Anyone know what stores sell canning jars?

Found mine at Wal-mart and at Fry's. There was Pectin and new lids & rings with instruction on how to use. Been thinking about making Prickly Pear or Jalapino jelly. Best of luck you sound sweet.
If you are looking for someplace local to find cans, you may want to check your phone book and call around. If you want to order cans, you can check online. Sometimes you can order cans online in bulk for a better price anyways. You may want to check out both options.
