What is the texture of well cokked paella?!

Question:

What is the texture of well cokked paella?

Its paella similar to say chinese fried rice (in terms of texture) or closer to semi-porrige (like risotto)? Tried cooking it but looks disastrous...all lumpy and sticky. Luckily my wife liked it, she likes mushy food anyway

Answers:
It actually varies. it should be somewhere between a fried rice and risoto in texture with lots of large chucnks of veggies and seasfood or chicken. I've had it many times and its always a little different even in spain!
