What is an interesting dessert using passion-fruit spread or pulp?!

Question:

What is an interesting dessert using passion-fruit spread or pulp?

I have a jar of the spread at home but I don't really like it on bread so I want some ideas how I could use it in other ways in cooking, like a spread in a cake etc.

Answers:
I'm sure you can simply use it as a drizzle or as a sauce on many cakes, mousses and ice creams. (heat it up first) Use it as if you would a strawberry or raspberry coulis. I think it would be very nice and tropical. You can also mix it up with other tropical fruits such as mango and use it to top or dress up a white chiffon cake, tea cake or angel food cake. You can also make a sherbet out of them. Also, what about using them in a drink? Like adding a dollop in a martini (passion fruit martini? yum!), a margarita or a champagne cocktail. (Champagne, mango nectar, passion fruit and a dash of grand marnier?) Or what about making a salad dressing out of it? Take a raspberry vinaigrette recipe and substitute some of the raspberries with the passion fruit. Or try:

If you want to stick to deserts though here are some recipes.
(just substitute the fresh fruit or juice with the spread)

Put it in Fruit salad. Bananas, oranges, apples, pineapple, peaches, pears, mangoes, cantelope.

yes, you can spread it on a cake. Add other fruits like kiwis and strawberries to add colours to your cake. For toppings, put some whip cream and add small chocolate chips or raisins.

You may also mix it in ice cream. Ice cream flavours like vanilla, mango and mint make a great taste combination with passion fruit/pulp. Add chocolate syrup toppings if you want.

I think it would be really refreshing spread thin on top of a plain cheesecake--it would spice it up a bit.

If you don't like cheesecake another favorite of mine is to make a desert pizza where you take a bit of cream cheese for the base then you could add a thin layer of the spread and artfully arrange kiwi, passionfruit, mangos and strawberries on top. You have to bake the crust first--to make it simple you can just buy a crescent roll can and roll it out thin onto a pie pan or cookie sheet--add a dollop of butter and milk to brown the crust if you like--let cool then add cream cheese and your favorite fruit and refrigerate--it keeps at least a week in the refrig. and you can also make it ahead and freeze it--way simple and easy and I'm telling you--really yummy--I would even it for breakfast.

You could also make those cute little english almond butter tea cookies where you thumbprint them in the middle and add a small dollop of the spread on top and bake in the oven--I forget what they're called--but they're also my favorites--really flaky and delicious. Now I want some of that spread!
