All the soups you could imagine, Smoothies (had an excellent one last night, 1 banana, 5 strawberries, 4 ice cubes and half a glas of milk, blended), humus and various dips. Essentially anything that comes in liquid or paste form. (apart from things like jam, a touch to hot)
Smoothies.
This is a great summer dish you can easily whip up in the food mixer:
Tzatziki Yogurt Dip
(Makes 3 cups of dip)
2 medium cucumbers, peeled, sliced in half and finely chopped
1 small white onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups plain non-flavored yogurt, drained in a sieve
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or ? wedge of lemon, seeded and squeezed)
? teaspoon salt
? teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Put everything into a blender or food processor and mix until blended. The consistency of the dip will be slightly chunky. Almost all the herbs can be bent a little to your taste.
This dip is best served on pita bread, pita chips, bagel chips, seasoned crackers etc.

I never measure anything when I cook but this recipe can be adjusted to suit your own taste so it doesnt matter.
Tinned tomatoes
3 red peppers
onion
garlic
double cream
Herbs of your choice
salt and pepper
Skin peppers and chop, fry with chopped onion and then mix with tinned tomatoes. Add enough veg stock to make a runny sauce which can be eaten as soup or less stock to make a thicker sauce which I use with home made meatballs and spaghetti. Pour into a blender until smooth, add herbs and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add cream a couple of minutes before serving.
***Smoothie
1. 1 cup of milk
2. 1 Banana
3. 1 scoop of icecream
4. Chocolate syrup
BLEND AWAY
*** Cucumber melody (I dunno why but I like this name)
This is a very helthy drink during summer.
1. Take one peeled cucumber
2. half a litre butter milk
3. a sprinkle of salt and pepper
4. some mint (powder of leaves)
5. Blend all these together
6. Decorate with a celery and a mint leaf
*** spicy potato soup
1. Boil a potato (till its very very very soft)
2. peel and mash (let it cool)
3. add 1 can of salsa (whichever you like)
4. Add about a teaspoon of cilantro, some chopper ginger and salt
5. put it in the blender
6. Add a little vinegar and BBQ sauce
7. Add a cup of water.
8. Blend to get a perfect cream soup
7. Heat it up in the microwave and add cheese on top.
Fresh soups, just stick all sorts of veg in together, you'll be surprised how good they taste, better than tinned., smoothies made with fruit or healthy veg smoothies, white sauces like cheese, parsley,etc, red sauces like spicy tomato and herbs or red wine, lots of things really and it's great to blend out the lumps in gravy of course!

Avocado sandwich
ingredients: (for 2)
1 avocado
Lemons / lime juice
half a tomato
half an onion
green chillies (optional)
salt to taste
Dice all vegetables (and chillies if used) roughly and put everything in the food blender and (of course) blend well until it is a thick paste. Add the lime juice and salt and mix well.
Put it between 2 slices of bread and enjoy!
