It really depends on the type of ham, i.e. smoked, fresh, and whether or not there is a bone in or not, here is a link to a site re: cooking times for ham:

If you are in the UK here is a link for instructions there:

Hope I helped some, good luck!

6 hours at 275 degrees F

You need to plan on at least 20 minutes per pound, so consider 3 hours at 325 degrees.

Depends on the dish you are making and the method you are using to cook.

But if you are asking just how long it takes to become "germ safe" then the answer is 30 minutes medium high heat stovetop, 350 C in the oven for 30 minutes.

Hope this helps. If you say what dish you are making then I can help a little bit more.

I am going to say 30-45 minutes on 350, but it really depends on the methods and recipes you are using.

Baked Honey Ham Recipe

Servings: 12 servings

Ingredients

6 lb. Ham, bone in, fully cooked 1 tablespoon flour 1 Tablespoon flour 1 tablespoon Flour
2 teaspoons rosemary or thyme, crushed 4 teaspoons lemon pepper
16 oz. (1-1/4 cups) honey 1 oven cooking bag
1/2 cup white wine

Instructions

Place flour in roasting bag and shake to coat inside surface. Place ham
in floured bag. Combine honey, lemon pepper and rosemary; pour over ham
and close bag with twister. Poke holes in top of bag with fork. Roast at 325°F
for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until slightly browned. Remove from oven, let stand
10 minutes. Cut bag and remove ham, following bag manufacturer's
directions. Reserve drippings for sauce.

Honey Sauce: Strain drippings and measure; add enough water to equal 2
cups. Add 1/2 cup white wine and bring to boil. Serve with ham.

ASK THE BUTCHER where you bought the ham...

I thought to be a "ham" it had to be a smoked cut of pork roast....which would mean it's cooked. But you can still bake it with glaze or stuff like brown sugar, pineapple rings, etc. if you want to serve it warm.

Just don't over cook or it will be dry.

the best way to cook that ham is to put it on a pine board, wrap it in foil put in a oven on 350 degrees for 11/2 hours take it out and let rest for 20mins unwrap the foil put the ham in the garbage an eat the board. ihaven't eaten any pork or shell fish since 1991, i am over 300 lbs no clogged arteries blood preassure is fine and cholesterol is 175. imagine that.

I am not sure if your talking about a ham or a roast. Ham is ready to eat. You can cook it or not. Pork roast on the other hand is raw. The yard stick is 30 min. per pound. Pork should be white all the way though. No pink or red. But don't over cook it. It will dry out. Check it often. Good luck.
