Here's a web site that shows you how...you can season it with whatever you'd like: soy sauce, honey, garlic, butter, salt & pepper, etc.

but do not try to make fish soup!!!:P
i know how to make fried fish, and that's it.
take some cleaned fish, cover them in flour (just cover them), dip them in a bowl of milk and eggs ( beat together), then cover them up in saltine cracker crumbs, and put them in a frier.
Hmmmm. This is really hard to answer unless we know what kind of fish, but this is a basic way to easily cook a white fish fillet such as cod or halibut, or wild salmon. This is a camping version we use at home after a relative's Alaskan fishing trip. The goal is to lightly steam the fish, not overcook so it will become tough and chewy.
Saute a sliced red pepper and sliced onion in a little olive oil until soft. Place on a piece of foil, add 2-3 fish fillets and add seasoning such as salt and Italian herbs. Fold the foil over the packet. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 30 minutes until the fish flakes.
If it a whole fish open it and slather tarter sauce on both sides and leave it open and grill it on the grill or bake it in the oven. If you dont like tarter sauce I have heard of others that slather mayo on both sides instead. Or marinate it in apple juice garlic and terriyake and a little brown sugar for 30 min to an hour and grill or bake it. It makes it a little sweet but it tastes really good. I live in the Pacific Northwest and we know how to cook a good salmon.
Baked Salmon
2 servings 1 hour 15 min prep
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 tablespoons light olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
In a medium glass bowl, prepare marinade by mixing garlic, light olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley.
Place salmon fillets in a medium glass baking dish, and cover with the marinade.
Marinate in the refrigerator about 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade, and seal.
Place sealed salmon in the glass dish, and bake 35 to 45 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.
There are many ways, you could use your favourite Italian dressing, pour over it wrap with foil and bake until tender.
You could also use BBQ sauce, terriyaki, serve over rice.
Yummy!
If it is salmon what I would do is put in on some foil enough to wrap it up when to cook. I take about a whole jar of mayo and fill the inside of the fish. Especially if you are doing a whole salmon. salt and pepper your fish and wrap it in the foil and put it in the oven on 350 for about a hour. Then unwrap it and serve the mayo gives it a great flavor and it is really nice and moist and the mayo disappears during cooking.
Lemon juice and honey over a hot BBQ!
