I need a quick summer dessert for a swimming party tonight, please include directions

Watergate Salad
1 lg can crushed pineapple
1 box pistachio instant pudding
1 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 c. coconut
1 lg carton Cool whip
Mix pineapple and pudding mix together; then add marshmallows,
coconut and Cool whip. Mix and Chill.

7-layer bar cookies...
These are YUMMY!!!!
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
6 oz. chocolate chips
6 oz. butterscotch chips
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c walnuts
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Melt butter in 13x9' pan. Sprinke crumbs evenly over butter. Layer with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and walnuts. Pour milk over all. Bake @ 350' for 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.

Death by Chocolate
1 box chocolate cake mix
4 sm boxes of Instant Choc. pudding
4- 8-oz. cool Whip
Bake cake according to directions.
and prepare pudding according to box.
When cake is cooled.
Layer as follows: This really looks nice in a glass pyrex dish or a trifle bowl.
half the cake - crumbled
half the pudding ( 2 boxes prepared)
16 oz. cool whip
Repeat

why don't you just bur Ice Cream?

trifle. cubed pound cake in single serving glasses. topped with thawed berries, vanilla pudding and cool whip. make layers. it looks really good. easy and yummy.

Raspberry Summer Sensation Dessert


12 servings 3? hours 15 min prep

2 cups raspberry sorbet or sherbet (I used President's Choice fat free raspberry gelato and it worked great)
1 cup cold milk
1 (106 g) package instant vanilla pudding (or try chocolate for an extra special treat!)
3 cups Cool Whip, thawed
1 cup raspberries

Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with foil, spoon sorbet into pan and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Pour milk into a large bowl and add dry pudding mix. Whisk until well blended and fold in whipped topping.
Spread pudding mixture over sorbet in pan.
Freeze for at least 3 hours or ovenight. Wrap securely and label if freezing longer than 24 hours.
Unmold loaf pan onto a serving platter and top with fresh raspberries just before serving. It will be easier to cut if it rests for 15 minutes.

Oh, by the way, I think that chocolate dipped strawberries would be an excelent idea!! Just melt some chocolate chips and tip the strawberries in, leaving the stem on for people to hold onto. :)

A frozen strawberry cream pie. You can buy a prebaked shell. Mash up about a pint of strawberries with a little sugar. You can either use cool whip or but some whipping cream and make your own. If you go with the cool whip just fold in the strawberries and fill the shell. With the whipping cream, whip it in your mixer until it's firm, then add a little sugar and gently fold in the strawberries. Fill the shell and freeze. It's so good.

yougurt pie

1 grahm cracker pie crust (ready made at the market)
1 tub of cool whip
2 containers any flavor yougurt

fold the yougurt & cool whip together, pour into the pie shell , top with fruit if you want to look pretty,chill in the freezer about 1 hr. slice and serve. this also looks nice in parfait or margarita glasses.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Clouds
2 (10 ounce) packages puff pastry shells
2 pounds fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy cream

Bake the frozen pastry shells as instructed on the box. Each box contains six pastry shells. Using two boxes, all twelve will fit on a large baking sheet. After they are done, remove top and hollow out the inside of pastries. Set tops aside to use later as garnish.

Slice strawberries lengthwise into medium-thin pieces. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and set aside to chill in a medium bowl.

In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla until smooth. In a separate large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form (about 3 minutes). Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Set aside and chill.

Fill each pastry with cream cheese until it just reaches the top. Spoon strawberries over top. Use the pastry tops as a garnish with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and a strawberry slice on top.

or, this cake is very light and is delicious!

Pineapple Mandarin Orange Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, with the juice
4 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

Mix together cake mix, canned oranges with juice, eggs, and oil. Pour batter into three greased and floured 8 inch round pans. Layers will be thin. (You can use 2 pans if you prefer)

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool layers on wire racks.

Mix together whipped topping, drained pineapple, and instant pudding mix. Fill between the layers and frost the top of the cooled cake. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Peanut Butter Pie:
8 oz. Cool Whip
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 graham cracker crust, store-bought or premade
Chocolate sauce/hot fudge for garnish

Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until well blended. Fold in the Cool Whip. Pour mixture into a graham cracker crust and freeze for several hours before serving. Serve with chocolate sauce or hot fudge.
