What is the proper way to peel avocadoes?!

Question:

What is the proper way to peel avocadoes?

Answers:
Cut the avocado in half length wise. Remove the pit. If you want to keep it nice to cut into strips, use a spoon and stick it between the peel and meat. Slowly work the meat away from the peel.

Scoop the meat out of the skin.

First cut in half lengthwise, then twist and pull to separate halves. One half will have pit, to remove, stick with a fork or knife and twist and pull. Then slice avocado as desired leaving skin intact. Scoop slices out with a large spoon. Voila!

use large knife-slice in half long-ways by pushing blade down to nut and rotating 360 degrees. Use a shallow serving spoon after you remove the nut to scoop the flesh out long ways. If the avocado is at the right state of ripeness you should get all of the flesh in one scoop.

You cut it vertically. Then you stick the knife in the pit and twist, it should pop out. Then scoo the rest with a spoon.
