Looking for the kind of dough they make fried ice cream with?!

Question:

Looking for the kind of dough they make fried ice cream with?

It cooks at low temps and I want to know what it's called and how to get some.

Answers:
Crushed Corn Flakes (a little cinnamon mixed in).......
Make ice cream balls and place on a sheet and put back in freezer, then take them out and roll in corn flakes (make sure you have a good coating - press into ice cream and leave no holes), then place them back in the freezer again.
Your oil has to be very hot or your ice cream balls will melt.

I used to work at Chi Chis

it's not a dough, but a batter....try making a thin pancake style batter

It's just crushed corn flakes. After it's fried they roll it in cinnamon sugar and most places drizzle it with melted Mexican chocolate.

Crushed corn flakes.

I believe it is just sweetened cracker/cereal crumbs. They don't really "fry" it long enough to crisp, so you have to start with crispy coating to begin with.

Um...usually its corn flakes. Roll the ice cream ball in them and then hit them with a kitchen torch. Easy breezy.
If you have to deep fry, try a pancake or waffle batter. I've never had it in a dough.
