You can go to allrecipes.com and find recipes and comments from people who have tried them.

try just a simple peanut butter cookie or a sugar cookie with a herseys kiss in the middle

Here's an easy one for peanut butter cookies. Although it takes a lot of peanut butter - so you may want to make some other kinds, too.

1 half small jar of peanut butter
1 egg
1 cup sugar

Mix everything together, and spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. Let cool before removing them from sheet (or they will fall apart).

I love theses!

2 cups graham crackers crumbs (about 32 graham crackers)
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, stir to combine. Spread into a greased 8x8x2-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

Cool cookie bars on wire rack. Makes about 18 cookie bars.

ok here is the easiest one i know
get a pkg of pre made choc chip
and add 4 bars or crushed up skor bars and two bars of crushed up symphony bars (the one with the toffee and almonds
then add a tablespoon of kahlua
bake as directed...

or...get the dry sugar cookie mix and add lemon juice...just enough for the batter to taste lemony but not tooo tart...bake as directed

SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter or margarine softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Cream of Tarter
1/2 cup sugar with 2 teaspoon cinnamon stirred in.

DIRECTIONS:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a
time, mixing well after each. Mix all dry ingredients together
and add them to the egg mixture 1/3 at a time, mixing well
after each addition. Cookie dough will be soft and sticky.
Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour. Shape the dough
into small balls (the size of a large marble) and roll them
in cinnamon sugar. Place them on a parchment paper lined
cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and flatten them slightly.
Cookies will spread out as they bake. Bake at 400 for 10 to
12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges, but
still soft. Remove from cookie sheet immediately as the
cookies will stick if allowed to cool on cookie sheet.

Sesame Seed Cookies

These sophisticated cookies have wonderful flavor and crunch and are a nice change of pace from the run of the mill recipes that float around every season. The cookies are very attractive, and look great wrapped in clear cellophane bags, or wrapped in rows and given in decorative boxes. My favorite way to toast sesame seeds is to place them in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Stir them constantly until they are fragrant and lightly toasted, about 3-4 minutes.

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup toasted sesame seeds

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and heavily grease several baking sheets. Sift the flour, salt, and baking soda into a small bowl. In a large bowl beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix until very smooth. Mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the sesame seeds. Drop the dough by the tablespoonful onto the prepared cookie sheets, leaving about 1 1/2 inches between each cookie. Bake for about 6 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

You can go to pillsbury.com and find a lot of good cookie recipes there. Your first answer is a good one. Those peanut butter cookies with the hershey kiss in the middle are a very popular cookie. It's a traditional cookie that's been around for a long time. People know it and they like it. Good luck.

1 cake mix
1 stick of butter
1 egg

Mix together. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until done.

Works with any cake mix - but I like to use lemon, strawberry, chocolate, red velvet, butter pecan and french vanilla when I make these cookies. One basic recipe makes endless varieties of cookies. You are only limited by what your grocery carries!
