Question:

Whats a few good side dishes to go with kabobs?

the kabobs will have chicken, steak, shrimp, bell peppers and mushrooms.... but i dont know what to make for the side!!!!

Answers:
Twice baked potatos and corn on the cob. May a dinner salad, or even a fruit salad. Thats the way we do it here at my house.

couscous or rice

potato wedges

I just went through central asia and they eat kabobs there for every meal. I thought they best things they had were alot of refreshing salads of cucumber and tomotoes. They also had hummus and rice. Finely sliced raw onions are also great.

grill up some corn. (really corn is good on grill)

Rice Pilaf and a salad of sliced cucumbers, sweet onion and tomatoes, with a dressing of 1/2 cup sour cream, 3/4 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar.

rice

Rice, pasta salad, corn, couscous, a veggie platter, some steamed veggies like broccoli or carrots, potato wedges, scalloped potatos.

Kabobs to me suggest greek cuisine, so rice dishes and caesar salad, greek salad.

Do some rice and vegetables, it is easy to make and goes with kebabs.
A nice cheesy pasta would be an alternative with spring onions or garlic chives.
