I use 2 Wal-mart Great Value brand boxes and prepare as the directions say but add about 1/8 of a cup of maple syrup to sweeten it up. If I want to get really fancy, I would whip a little honey and butter together to spread over the top. It tastes like home made - really!

Here's a simple recipe you can whip up in 5 minute:
2 boxes of Jiffy Cornbread Mix - make as directed-add 6 tablespoons of margarine (3 tbsp for each box) and 6 tablespoons of granulated (regular) sugar (3 tbsp for each box). Mix all together and bake as directed. (You can always add more or less margarine and/or sugar to your liking)
Taste TERRIFIC!
As you can tell ~ I like my cornbread sweet and buttery!
