Answers:
get a frying pan add little bet of oil when it hot put the steak in add salt or any spices you like garlic salt meat seasoning etc., or buy a grill that you can put on top of your stove and you can grill your steaks as if you BBQue outside. You can buy it at target or wal-mart, k-mart . The more you cook the better you will get. mmmmmmm :]

Heat up a skillet, preferably cast iron, throw in some salt & pepper and sear the steak until done as preferred. The broiler pan is usually a lot easier, however.

On top of the oven? Huh?
Do you mean on your stove?

Get a skillet, put in some crushed garlic and olive oil, heat, put the steak in and quickly sear on high heat on each side, then turn heat down and cook until it is the way you like it, I like mine with some pink in the middle.

I like to throw some mushrooms towards the end and eat mine with hashbrowns and put ketchup of the whole kit and caboodle.

Use a fry pan, not too thick steak.

Saute it in a pan after marrinating it or you could purchase a gorge foreman grill and grill it or do it on a regular grill too.

Melt some butter in a frying pan with some sliced onions until they are transparent(clear). Then add the steak at high heat. Cut it open to make sure its done.

Beef Stew.
1kg (2lb) Beef Steak.
25g (1 oz.) Flour.
S&P.
Oil.
2 Sliced onions.
1 Beef Oxo cube.
Cup boiling water.
4 Diced Potatoes.
1 Diced Carrot.
1 Diced Turnip.

Remove fat from beef and cut into bite sized pieces and rolled in seasoned flour. Brown in batches in the oil and place in a pot.
Fry off the onions and add to meat.
Add the stock cube and water and scrape all of the good bits from the fry pan and add to the meat and onions.
Stir together and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and d simmer for 2 hours.
