What spices can I add to my corn to make it taste better?!

Question:

What spices can I add to my corn to make it taste better?

Salt, pepper and butter of course, but what else?
No recipes, please! Don't go copying it off of a website and pasting it here, I could do that myself.

Just want to know what spices to add, please!

Answers:
Garlic chives and butter will give you a mild garlic taste & plain chives would give you a subtle onion taste.
If you want a stronger onion taste you could use the green of spring onions.
I would wrap them in foil packets and bake in the oven.

Cumin. Paprika. Garlic. Rosemary. Even a little bit of sugar.

Personally, I wouldn't add anything else!

if your talking about corn on the cob add mayo/butter/lemon juice or lime juice/ chili powder MM MM. Or corn from the can you can add zucchini squash dice it up small and add some tomato sauce and let it cook add some salt/blk pepper and some garlic salt for taste then after it simmer and the zucchini is soft add Cheddar cheese to it and let it melt, then serve mm mm good.

Personally, I like a little bit of chili powder and lemon.

You could also try a little nutmeg. It brings out the sweetness.

I like my with a few bits of bacon added. Just cut up a quarter slice into chunks, cook it in your pan until mostly done and add the corn.

Add some chili powder to it along with some saute onions and red pepper (mild ones). It makes it a mexican variety.
MMMmmm good.

Bacon Grease!

The absolute best thing you can add to your corn is a bit of sugar. If you're boiling ears of corn, add the sugar to the boiling water and boil the ears until cooked. The sugar will impart a wonderful taste to the corn that brings out the flavor. This is also true with whole kernel corn. If you want, just sprinkle a bit of sugar into the corn and cook. If you're making whole kernel corn, besides the bit of sugar you add, you might try adding a bit of Lawry's Seasoning Salt to the corn instead of regular salt. The flavors in the Seasoning salt are quite different and work with the small amount of sugar to bring out the flavor in the corn. Hope you like this! My corn is always the hit of the dinner whenever I take it to a potluck or someone's home. I have do double my recipe because there is never enough!!! GOOD LUCK!!
