CHiken wings are great for mini appetizers and easy to make for acrowd you can get the frozen tyson kind in bbq terriyaki and buffalo for a lower price they tase like homemade when you bake them.
I made these for a recent going away party and they went quick.
PARTY MINI - CHEESECAKES

16 oz. softened cream cheese
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat all ingredients until fluffy.
In 2 dozen muffin pans, place cup-cake liners (silver ones are very festive). Drop a vanilla wafer into each lined pan, then fill 2/3 way full with cheesecake mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow mini cakes to cool (will flatten, after puffing up during cooking), with cherry or blueberry canned pie filling.

I used one part with strawberry pie filling.

If you do this I highly reccommend you use the foil liners. Its an easy recipe to make.
Have you thought about rotell dip?
the link below has a huge section of appetizer recipies for a party. Good luck. Every recipe Ive tried so far from the site has been good.

You could also make mini meatballs to serve.
What about a vegetable tray with ranch dip?

PARTY DIP

4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 pkgs. Hidden Valley Original Ranch party dip
1 3/4 c. diced red bell pepper
2-2 1/4 oz. diced black olives
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies

Blend cream cheese. Add Ranch party dip (dry). Stir in red bell pepper. Drain and dry black olives and chop green chilies (if necessary). Add to mixture. Chill at least 1 hour. Can be shaped into football using spatula and decorated with cheese and raw vegetables, using strips of cheese to make laces on football. Use with raw vegetables as dip or on party crackers. Very good with either.

SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE PARTY DIP

1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (1 oz.) env. Hidden Valley Ranch party dip mix
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained and chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos, rinsed and drained
1 lg. (1 1/2 lb.) round loaf bread, sourdough or any variety
1 lg. round loaf bread, cut in cubes for dipping
Assorted vegetables for dipping (optional)

Combine sour cream and party dip mix in medium bowl. Stir in artichokes, spinach and pimientos. Cut slice off top of round loaf of bread. Hollow out center of bread leaving a 1 inch shell. Reserve bread pieces for dipping. Spoon dip into bread shell. Serve warm or cold. To serve warm, bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Cover loaf with foil if browning too quickly. Serve with bread cubes and or assorted fresh vegetables. Serves about 12.

CHEX PARTY MIX

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
4 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 2/3 c. Corn Chex cereal
2 2/3 c. Rice Chex cereal
2 2/3 c. Wheat Chex cereal
1 c. salted mixed nuts

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat butter in large shallow roasting pan (about 15 x 10 x 2 inches) in oven until melted. Remove. Stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Add Chex and nuts. Mix until all pieces are coated. Heat in oven 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Favorite Party Snack.

PARTY CHEESE BALL

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 (8 oz.) c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
Dash of cayenne
Dash of salt
Finely chopped pecans

Combine softened cream cheese and Cheddar cheese, mixing until well blended. Add pimento, green pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and seasonings; mix well. Chill. Shape into ball, roll in nuts. Serve with crackers.
During the party season, leftover cheese ball can be reshaped and refrigerated until the next event. Will keep up to one week.

HIDDEN VALLEY PARTY PINWHEELS

2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
2 green onions, minced
4 (12 inch) flour tortillas
1/2 c. diced red or green peppers
1/2 c. diced celery
1 can sliced black olives

Mix first 3 ingredients, spread on tortillas. Sprinkle on remaining ingredients. Roll and wrap tightly. Chill 2 hours. Cut rolls into 1-inch slices.
Makes 3 dozen.

I'm making myself hungry! Have fun :]

Check on websites like Kraft foods, or Betty crocker. You can choose any of their ideas and then make them your own.. Instead of big brownies or cookies.. make them baby size... or use gender colored frostings or dips..

Ham rolls are always a hit and they are easy.

Polish ham (the good stuff, costs around $6-$7 a pound) sliced MEDIUM- too thick, not good, too thin not good. I would say at least one pound per 15 people.

Cream cheese, whipped for easy spreading

Scallions or green onions (you can omit these if you want) sliced thin

spread each slice of ham with cream cheese, sprinkle slices of green onion, then roll. put toothpicks in the roll and cut into "wheels" between the toothpicks. You should get 4 or 5 wheels per slice.

Try making mini cucumber sandwiches like you would for a tea party. All you do is spread cream cheese on toasted white bread and top with thinly sliced cucumbers. Add another piece of toast with cream cheese on top. Cut it into four squares, stick in toothpicks, and serve!
Note: The cucumber sandwiches go really well with iced tea or lemonade.

Carve a watermelon into a baby basket. Fill with fruit. (watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, blueberries) You can also use the cantaloupe, pineapple or honeydew shell as a bowl for fruit dip, whipped cream, or to hold another fruit.

Veggie tray with a choice of dip. (red, yellow, and green bell peppers are great for holding the dips)

Zucchini or banana bread muffins

A variety of crackers and cheese spreads.

A meat tray (ham, turkey, & roast beef) with fresh sandwich rolls. (white and wheat) Don't forget condiments!

Pink and Blue frosted cupcakes. (If you know the babies gender....) Use cute sprinkles or find some "baby" cupcake decorations

shrimp cocktail is always a hit!

stuffed mushrooms (yummy)

I hope I was able to give you a few ideas. If you only go with one of my ideas, I recomend the fruit. Trust me, they will love it!!

little boys/cocktail frankfurts wrapped in pastry and cooked in the oven, served with tomato sauce

I say keep it simple. Deviled eggs, slices of cheese and cold cuts, cucumber sandwiches, and other finger foods. You could also do fruit salad, pasta salad, and a tray of veges with dip.

My favorite baby shower punch is sherbet punch. Use 2 two-liters of Ginger Ale, one carton of orange juice, and one box of orange sherbet. Pour the Ginger ale in the punch bowl, then add the juice, then add the sherbet right before the guests arrive. It's delicious.

Bruchetta! I have a very easy recipe that I came up with on my own. You will need:

-French Baguette
-Fresh Roma Tomatoes (I use about 1-1.25 lbs. per loaf)
-Newmans Light Basalmic Vinaigrette Dressing (1/2 bottle per 1-1.25 lbs. of tomatoes)
-Basil (I don't even use fresh basil)
-Butter
-Garlic Powder

1. To make the bread for the Bruchetta, slice the baguettes.
2. Melt butter in microwave with a little bit of garlic powder and spread on the bread slices.
3. Bake on cookie sheet until golden brown. ( I usually set oven to 375 or so)
4. Cut up Roma tomatoes.
5. Mix in bowl with Newmans Basalmic Vinaigrette dressing and add some basil. (I usually refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes, I have even kept it overnight and it is fine.)
6. You can serve on a platter with the tomato mixture separate from the bread so that the bread doesn't get soggy, or you can scoop the tomato mixture on the breadh ahead of time.

Your guests will love it

Goodluck!
