Hints for a sexy snack?!

Question:

Hints for a sexy snack?

This is not like me, and call me a ‘traditional women’ but I've kindof been into cooking these days :) and my good old bf refuses to believe that I can cook up something delectable or as he calls it "real food"..

So, for all you chefs out there, I want to cook up a SIMPLE (emphasis on simple) little desert/snack that will make him regret the day he doubted my ummm -if you guys give me hints and tips- borrowed cooking skills!!

He adores dark-chocolate btw...

Thanks a bunch..

Chocolate dipped strawberries-get good quality dark chocolate and melt in the microwave or a double boiler. Dip in fresh ripe strawberries. You could get some milk or white chocolate and get a little creative with some half and half, swirls or dots if you wanted, too. Other good chocolate dipped fruits-bananas and raspberries. Good luck and keep up with it! Cooking is all about creativity and self expression, not old fashioned paradigms.

Saucy Chips, Maybe...

Strawberries,cherries and cantaloupe

Can't go wrong with chocolate pudding, just follow the directions on the box. I leave the sexy part to your imagination.....

Strawberries dipped in chocolate works for me...you can feed each other. Sexy no?

you could just make him some s'mores.. graham crackers, chocolate and a melted marshmellow... you could get creative and roast the marshmellow over a fire or if not, microwave them.. not long tho! good luck and i hope your bf enjoys your dessert!

Start with some lit candles, and then serve some champagne with a drizzle of sweet fruit syrup into it so it sinks to the bottom (you can get some at a store where they sell coffee syrups - raspberry is great)

And then hit him with some pieces of his favorite chocolate, Dagoba brand is nice to try, and sliced mango.

The drink will put him in a mood.

Oh, and don't forget to take a nice bath before he gets there so you are also ready to munch on. Dust with some honey powder that you can find at soap specialty stores like Soap Opera, if you have one near you.

It can take a little planning but execution is simple.

Chocolate mousse....

This is very easy, and Very...WOW!! People always seem to think cheesecake is really hard to make, but this one isn't.

The secret is to use a square pan 8x8 or 9x9, and line it with two layers of aluminum foil, one each direction, with plenty left over the edges...the foil will be your "handles" to remove the cake from the pan after it's baked!!

Easy Chocolate Cheesecake

1-1/2 cups crushed Oreo Cookies (about 18 cookies) (to crush, place cookies in a large baggie, and roll a can or jar over them)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3 pkg. (8 oz. each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened (open the packages and put bricks in your mixing bowl, let set about an hour until they are almost room temp and very mushy...they are hard to get out of the package if you soften them wrapped up)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted, slightly cooled (melt in a glass bowl in the wave 1 min then stir, add seconds as needed, small chunks will continue to melt with stirring, alternate directions on box)
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 325°F and place foil in pan.

Mix crushed cookies and butter; press firmly onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 min.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Melt and add chocolate; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended, (too much mixing makes the cake crack.) Pour over crust.

Bake 45 to 55 min. or until center is almost set (a spot in the middle, about silver dollar size will still look a little undone) Gently loosen cake edges from foil; cool to room temp. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. (you can remove from pan before or after refrigerating) Remove to a serving platter for impressive presentation.

Serve alone or with whipped cream and/or fresh fruit or berries.

Fondue chocolate and strawberries, always does the trick for us. You are cooking together, and there is chocolate and strawberries included. A NICE bottle of champagne will compliment nicely.

You want sexy?
Buy an assortment of fine chocolates (from dark to lite) and buy a bottle of good french brandy.... break up the chocolate into bite size pieces and put on a platter and serve him some brandy in a snifter... remind him that he should warm the brandy with his hands around the snifter.... and then he should warm you up with his hands around your waist...and he'll love you all night long & for ever.

Several answerer's have the same idea I had, Strawberries dipped in chocolate. For a little variation try stirring a little Grand Marnier or other liquer into the chocolate to kick it up a notch and make it yours.

a dark chocolate fondue will make him believe. with fruit and cake fed to each other is great
