What is your favorite meat for makin stew?

mine is elk

Answers:
I normally use beef (chuck roast that I cut up myself) but I've had a venison stew (made from the tenderloin) that was to die for!

Mine is goat meet. deer meat is also good.

I use a beef roast and cut it myself. I've never had the pleasure of trying elk but it sounds delicious.

Get a boneless shoulder roast or a boneless chuck roast, take it home and cut into cubes and use this in your beef stew. It's usually cheaper than buying stew meat.
