I am shocked you coulnd't find tahini at Whole Foods...did you ask a team member where to find it? I would check in one of two places...with the peanut butters (usually on a lower or upper shelf) or with the ethnic foods. I am sure its there and you just missed it. I've seen tahini in a jar, like peanut butter and in an orange, borwn and white can.

Tahini dressing is another story.

I buy my tahini at Whole Foods

Did you look in the Asian section? I'm very surprised they didn't carry them, especially in a big city. I live near Wichita Falls and I can find it in several large grocery stores. By the soy sauce.

Try looking up a Middle Eastern specialty store if you can't find it at a regular grocer.

Definitely check the Asian aisle.. it should be there.. I know if I am making hummus and dont have any tahini at hand, I have also substituted peanut butter.. It works great as well

look on a map

Try finding it at H-E-B, they have everything and is much cheaper than Randall's and Kroger's

take a food processor buy can chick peas 3 cloves of fresh garlic-chooped fine 1 tblspn olive oil- chopped mint leaves (optional ) run em through the food processor and you have tahini its not the hardest recipe oh yeah salt to taste

Try a "health food" store.
